We spotted this stream by the side of a children’s playground above St Martin’s in Eppan.Any normal playground engineer would have fenced it off carefully so that no tiny tots could drown themselves in it.
But instead an unsung genius turned it into a water playground. There are four sluices down the length of the path, each one with a big blue handle that you can pull up and allow the stored water to rush down to the next one. Do you want to wait and save up a lot of water, or rush ahead and follow your own personal Severn Bore down the hill? Sid had to be practically dragged away from it. Definitely today’s #kindnessandingenuity nomination.
