We’ve loaded up the various gadgets with apps to give us an alternative to conversation. After nearly 30 years of marriage there is no need to talk every single evening…
- BorrowBox which is linked to our local lending library so that we can get and read books
- Calibre and Calibre Companion to bring our existing huge pile of e-books with us (although I haven’t yet quite got Calibre Companion working, apparently it’s just a matter of RTFM so I have put the e-manual in the e-luggage)
- Economist and other apps to keep up with the depressing waves of Brexit news
- Blogger for writing the blog itself
- iTunes for learning, Audacity for editing and MuseScore for writing barbershop music
- Motorsport for keeping Sid fed with “car porn”.

Which reminded me of this T-shirt that I saw the other day.
