Today’s entrant for the #kindnessandingenuity award goes to this sundial, spotted on the side of a house in Chambéry.  You will notice that it is corrected for the elliptical nature of Earth’s orbit.

The Hotel Dieu was set up in the 1300s or so, to provide care for the sick, and it has been in operation ever since.

By the fountain at the far end of the Jardin des Tuilleries is a nice chap with a collection of boats.
