So we have disembarked from the ferry, done a bit of cycling and found a coffee shop. And in the coffee shop, to Sid’s delight, is a Dutch car magazine and in the car magazine is a report about the Lane Motor Museum.

Today’s route was more or less a straight dash to the coast. For the first section we cut out all the small roads round Essex villages that we’ve been using for the practice rides, and went straight through Takeley and Dunmow.
